    The scheme works as a salary sacrifice arrangement, where employees waive the right to receive a portion of their gross salary, in exchange for one or more products under the scheme which is where the Tax and NI savings are made.

    To maximise the success of the scheme we implement a tried and tested process as summarised below.

    1. In advance of the scheme Go Live our marketing team work with your organisation to promote the scheme and raise awareness.
    2. An online Webstore is set up to allow Employees to review products and to order
    3. Employees can place orders online or by Tel during the order window. Normally a 3-4 weeks period
    4. The Employer checks and approves the orders online
    5. We schedule the deliveries to Employees
    6. Serial Reports and Proof Delivery Information is provided to the Employer.

     

    Employee Choice run each scheme as a fully managed service and our aim at all times is to minimise the impact on the Employer.

    To achieve this you will be allocated a dedicated Project Manager and Relationship Manager who are supported by a highly trained Customer Service Team. The Customer Service Team are responsible for managing all incoming calls and emails from your Employees from Launch of the Scheme to the end of the agreement.

    WHAT IF MY CURRENT CONTRACT HASN’T EXPIRED?

    Employee Choice typically provide Employees with three ordering windows during the year to allow staff to join the scheme as their current contract comes near to an end. The significant savings via the scheme do allow staff to to still save even if joining prior to existing contracts coming to an end. Alternatively we are able to keep the scheme open all year round if you prefer.

  • RECYCLING SCHEME

    The Employee Choice Recycling Scheme offers Employees the opportunity to trade in old devices such as Computers or Mobile Phones on a Cash back basis. This effectively allows the Employee to further reduce the cost of ordering items under a Technology or Phone Scheme. It also allows staff coming to the end of a 2 or 3 year scheme to trade in their product for cashback to offset against the cost of the rejoining a scheme for a further 2 or 3 years.

    All products recycled with Employee Choice are returned to our Recycling Partner and recycled in line with the WEEE Directive. Therefore all Data and information is wiped from the device and certification provided. The service is aimed at making it simple for the Employee to upgrade their old device for a new model.

    PROCESS

    • On each Scheme Web portal Employee Choice Provide a link to a Recycling where you can specify your Device.
    • You must select the Condition of your device ie Good or Poor
    • The portal will provide the expected cashback for you item
    • Our Recycling partner who collect the machine, assess and confirm the condition
    • The partner will confirm the Cashback amount and will issue the credit

     

    HOW MUCH CASH-BACK WILL I RECEIVE?

    The webportal will provide a expected cashback amount for your old device. The amount will vary depending on model and condition but as a guide the iPad3 32GB WiFi model can be recycled for cashback of up to £150, 2-3 year old laptops can fetch up £100+ and the iPhone 4S for example can fetch £100+.
